This bold blend isn’t just about the bold — there is nuance to the layers in both aroma and flavor profiles. The nose begins with full throttle Petit Verdot character, with notes of coffee and brown spice that complement the black fruit beautifully. I like this now with a little airtime, but it will reward further aging. Time with this vineyard source, planted starting in 2007, is beginning to pay big dividends. Contains 43% Petit Verdot, 34% Syrah and 23% Cabernet Sauvignon.
