Oak Farm Vineyards, Lodi (California) Estate Grown Albariño 2023 ($18)

Wines like this remind you there is much more to Lodi than full-throttle red wines. At Oak Farm, the vines are sustainably farmed and certified green. The cellar treatment is minimal as the wine is stainless steel fermented and briefly aged. The result is an attractive wine that is straw colored and offers plenty of zippy lemon, green apple and light spice aromatics. On the palate it is vibrant and crisp with good acidity to convey the citrusy aftertaste. Its lingering finish invites another taste.
