Founded by Jon and Susan Keirs in 1996, Ox-Eye Vineyards takes its name from the charming ox-eye flower, an old-fashioned term for a field daisy, that blooms abundantly across their pastures. The wine, a beautiful gold in color, leads with vibrant aromas of green apple, pear, and hints of custard, baked apple, and toast. On the palate, a delicate mousse lifts the flavors of apricot, pineapple, wet chalk, and lemon curd. This off-dry wine features medium-plus acidity, offering a well-balanced complexity and intensity that lingers through its engaging finish.
