This is a tame, pretty Zinfandel that is built for the table. A layered bouquet of cherry, raspberry and subtle pepper notes is very attractive, and the palate continues the trend in dry style and shows the pepper tones a little more out front. The finish is bright without leaning into any sweet or heated tones. This would be great with a gourmet burger or better cuts of beef.
