Chenoweth is consistently one of Patz & Hall’s most distinctive Pinots, and often its best. The 2013 offers a floral nose, followed by hints of cola and spice. On the palate the wine is impressive in dimension, showing layers of sweet dark fruit that is balanced nicely with ample acidity. The tannins are smooth and supple, yet this vintage gives every indication it has the stuffing to improve in a good cellar over the next five to seven years.
