Raging Bull Vineyard, California “El Coyote “Red Wine Blend 2023 ($28)

Founded in 2016, Raging Bull now has close to 20 acres under vine. It is the only winery in the remote Northern California farming town of Orland. El Coyote is the producer’s top vineyard blend, and varies in varietal makeup each year. This 2023 brings together Cabernet, Merlot, Tempranillo, Sangiovese, along with a few other varieties. It comes across as an inviting, drink-now red combining freshness with considerable richness. With a vibrant aroma of blackberries and herbs, it delivers flavors that expand on the palate to offer lively, juicy, and ripe fruit. With light tannin and excellent balancing acidity, it finishes with good length.
