I recommend some cellar time to let this beautiful Pinot unwind itself a little bit. Black cherry, damp earth, and brown spice notes are starting to come together, and the acidic backbone ensures that the coming integration of the elements will be worth waiting for. That said, if you like a wine in its angular phase, this will not disappoint. Fifteen months on the lees gives this real depth that will become increasingly evident with time.
