I don’t know if I have ever described a wine as a textural achievement, but this wine certainly qualifies as such. The entry is silky and seductive, so much so that you will just want to hold it there for a good while and let the flavors unfold. Rich cherry fruit with a touch of raspberry gets the fall spice and mellow oak toast treatment, and a burst of acidity in the finish give serious push to the mix. A true delight that makes a mind bending solo glass, or will pair beautifully with meats on the white side of the spectrum.
