I love the Biale Zinfandel portfolio. It’s a one-winery show of what the variety can do across the spectrum of aroma and flavor, particularly when it comes to old vineyard sites. The R.W. Moore Vineyard in Napa Valley’s southeastern corner was planted in 1905, and it’s still turning out the hits. This vintage maintains the dry house style while managing berry pie aromas and a peppery palate of warm berry fruit that lingers long. Nicely done!
