Rombauer Vineyards, California Zinfandel 2022 ($38)

As I was sipping this wine it immediately struck me that this Zinfandel could be the red wine incarnation of Kendall Jackson’s legendary Chardonnay – lush, rounded, fruit-forward berry flavors with a dollop of sweetness at the end that lingers just a tad longer than it should.
