What a beautiful bouquet! Blackberry, blueberry, orange zest and spice are deeply layered and concentrated. On the palate, the fruit joins a nice mix of oak toast and spice that are delivered in dry style with some white pepper coming forward. The finish is well integrated and will improve as the wood continues to fold in. With air the pepper is even bolder, which I like. I find that I’m never disappointed by this producer.
