Lisbon area is a really fun place to visit and I have always found the white wines from the area intriguing and delicious. The region’s coastal Atlantic influence and, often, very sandy soils produce some outstanding wines. This winery harvests the fruit for this wine slightly early to preserve acidity and desired flavors. I found under-ripe pear and grapefruit notes that balanced perfectly with the fresh vibrant mouthfeel. Additionally, this wine comes with a price tag under $10, a screw top, a low alcohol content, and a good chill — it’s a perfect beach wine.
