Though this wine is a fairly late release at the age of seven, it could have gone even longer before leaving the winery. That said, it’s always great fun to be able to experience a wine’s evolution as it matures. If you are into that sort of thing, this is a worthy candidate for tasting across years. It is headed in a good direction as it begins to unfurl layers of black and red fruit, soft pepper, and faint dried herbs through its firm structure. Buy with confidence.
