A beautiful Pinot Noir from one of California’s flagship producers that seems not to have skipped a beat since a fairly recent ownership change. This wine is classic Russian River Valley, showing flowers, bright cherry, talc, dusty minerality, tea and soft fall spice in both aroma and flavor, with excellent acid balance keeping everything very lively through a lingering finish. This is a great pleasure on its own, and has the stuffing to age and gain in complexity. A Platinum award winner at the 2014 Critics Challenge International Wine Competition.
