Perhaps it’s the Perrin heritage, but it is difficult for me to taste a Tablas Rhône varietal wine or, more likely, a blend that does not make me taste the South of France. I have come to believe it is more a matter of style than the power of suggestion. And this Grenache-based (with other varieties blended in) pink does remind me quite a bit of a modern Provence Rosé – very fresh and refreshing, tart strawberries floating on a generous structure with a hint of crisp orange in the finish.
