This new family run winery is based in the small town of Talent, near Medford. The label is a replica used by the family when the land was a pear orchard. Sourced from two nearby vineyards, the 2017 is a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon with 13% Petit Verdot and 12% Grenache. It was aged 22 months in French and American oak (50% new). It is medium bodied and vibrant with bright berry fruit, graphite and cedar in the bouquet, yet it sweeps across the palate with juicy, ripe fruit and a hint of vanilla from the oak. Beautifully balanced, it finishes with light, ultra smooth tannins. Production was 250 cases.
