This lively, transparent ruby colored wine is light and savory with red cherry fruit mingling with dried woody herbs. It is light bodied, linear and bone dry with red cherry, rhubarb fruit, crisp acidity and surprisingly gentle tannins for Nebbiolo. Serve it with roast chicken or chill it and take it on a picnic. It hails from the northernmost area of Lombardy, or Lombardia in northern Italy where they call the Nebbiolo grape Chiavennasca. The winery was established in 2008 by owner Cristina Scarpellini.
