Established in 2003, the winery is owned by the Foley Family. It offers several Pinot Noirs, all derived from its four small estate vineyards along with other sites in the Valley. This Pinot Noir was aged for 12 months in French oak, 15% of it new, and that wood influence adds a subtle touch of baking spices. Overall, this wine is subtle and elegant from start to finish. Light ruby in color, it showcases a bouquet of black cherry and cloves with a hint of cinnamon. Medium bodied, it is soft and plush with lively flavors and a velvety texture. With light tannin and good structure, it drinks well now but I suspect it will become more harmonious with a few years of cellaring.
