You may be as surprised as I was when I tried this very, very inexpensive wine and found that it tastes very, very classy. I can’t remember being particularly impressed by Turning Leaf in the past, but this Merlot is impressively rich, with good fresh fruit, a delicate oomph of oak, and surprising length.
