The Beast! This is a huge wine from central Spain, showing yet another facet of the great Tempranillo grape variety. Full throttle black cherry fruit is joined by bright oak spice and a touch of menthol, and these all ride supple tannins through an extended tarry finish. I would go straight to the cheese course with this one, and the bolder the cheese, the better.
