This is a fairly full throttle Valpolicella that probably is a sign of the warmer climate that the appellation is now experiencing. That said, it’s very well managed, showing bold cherry fruit with notes of blueberry and pleasant oak char that play well together and finish with a smoky note. Carbonara pasta is the ticket here. Contains 80% Corvina, 10% Rondinella and 10% Oseleta.
