This wine is light ruby color. Aromas and flavors are of stewed plum, ripe cherry, and red berry fruits. But, the dominant factor is oak in the form of sawdust, toast, vanilla, baking spices and coconut. The wine has simple and straightforward fruit and oak with moderate drying tannins and light body. While not complex, the wine holds some charm for Merlot lovers and is easy to drink.
