As rambunctious and endearing as a puppy, this Rhône-style red blend (comprised of Grenache 43%, Shiraz 43% and Mourvèdre 14%), seems eager to please with its high notes of red fruits, bouncy vitality, and zippy tannins. It will undoubtedly settle down in a year or two, but if you’re impatient to wait for it to mellow (or are one of those people who likes to say: “At my age I don’t even buy green bananas,”) you won’t be disappointed if you drink it now.
