Platt Vineyard sits due south of the B.A. Thieriot Vineyard on the Sonoma Coast. The location is lower and cooler with loamy soils. This results in a precise, tensile, focused wine with crisp and crunchy bright red cherry, cranberry, and raspberry fruit accented by exotic floral aromas, hops spice, and minerals. The wine is silky and delicate across the mid-palate while grippy tannins appear on the finish.
