An interesting Merlot influenced in a big way by the inclusion of 12% Petite Sirah, which takes it into the savory zone with a fair amount of force. It’s a good thing here, with meaty and tarry aromas and flavors joining Merlot’s red and black berry character. Think Aussie Shiraz when looking to pair this with food, or just enjoy the unique blend.
