Mud House, Marlborough (New Zealand) Sauvignon Blanc 2021

 Owned by Accolade which also owns Hardys and 50 other brands, this widely available wine has remained one of the more reliable, good values over recent years. It also is typical of the regional style without going overboard.  Light straw green in color, this 2021 offers plenty of green apple and lime with a hint of lychee in its bright aroma.  On the palate it is medium bodied with flavors of lime, citrus and fennel.  The finish is moderately assertive with a good balance of fruit and acidity.
