Complete and convincing, with excellent balance and complexity from the first whiff to the conclusion of the very persistent, impressively symmetrical finish, this is an outstanding wine. Wood and fruit are very well integrated already, and there are lots of other nice little nuances peeking out from the perimeter. Not among the most powerful of the 2010 Barbareschi, but a model of balance and proportionality, with superb balance and depth.
