There’s a northern Rhône feel to the aroma, with earth and violet notes mingled with a slight animal note. In the mouth, though, it’s all about the precise ripe red plum fruit. It would be interesting to spend some time with this wine to see if the aroma and flavor stay so disconnected. 14% alcohol.
