Rather light in color for a wine from La Morra in 2009, this nevertheless shows wonderful expressiveness, starting with heady aromas of fresh flowers, woodsmoke and cured meat. Only moderately rich, but packed with aroma and flavor, this pleasantly earthy wine is among the most complex and engaging of the vintage.
