Luisin, Barbaresco (Piedmont, Italy) 2009

Jul 18, 2012

By Michael Franz

An impressive wine showing dark color, ripe Bing cherry fruit, and flavors that are deep and authoritative.  There’s lots of oak showing on both the nose and the palate, but there’s more than enough fruit to keep this in near-optimal balance.
