One suspects that a lot of consumers are on the lookout for wines priced under $10, and this is one that is definitely worth seeking out. It is sweet and soft but neither shallow nor gutless, and though it has no notable wood influence, there’s some depth of flavor to the dark cherry fruit and a bit of tannin to firm up the finish.
