This wine is just a hair stronger than Carrick’s “Unravelled” Pinot, but I scored them at the same level when tasting them side-by-side. This shows a bit more ripeness and depth of flavor, yet it still manages to show the restrained sweetness and overall delicacy of the “Unravelled” bottling. It also shows an interesting interplay between fruit notes and savory accents, and though it is utterly delicious at present, I suspect that it will become even more interesting in coming years.
