This wine is a good example of Crozes-Hermitage. The color is a deep ruby-garnet. The nose has intense white pepper and violet with greengage, ripe raspberry, and blackberry fruit. Granite and resinous qualities emerge on the taut, gripping palate. Charry meat, smoke, and mineral linger on the moderate finish.
