Don Miguel Gascon, Mendoza (Argentina) Malbec 2008

Truly purple in color, this wine has aromas of blackberries, blueberries and spice (cloves).  Its fruit flavors are young and somewhat grapey (how often do you see that fruit reference in regard to wine?), and the wine is soft, light-bodied and balanced.  This would be a nice alternative to Beaujolais Nouveau at Thanksgiving.
