Offering excellent value, this is a substantial red wine, full of juicy fruit but balanced and focused, with layered secondary flavors that hit at wood and spice, especially in the finish. Though priced more for quick, weeknight drinking, it has the stuffing that suggests it will reward cellaring, and may well merit a 90+ score with a couple of years of bottle age. Impressive.
