An impressive Cabernet, with deep, cassis-like flavors, evident but not obtrusive oak flavor, and a long finish. The wine’s initial impression is slightly simple and sweet, but as it lingers on the palate it becomes more substantial, something that suggests it may become even better with another six months to a year of bottle age. Even if that does not happen, though, it is an excellent value.
