Pedernales, Texas (United States) Tempranillo 2008

Jun 30, 2010

By W. Blake Gray

A very aromatic wine, with notes of dried and fresh cherry, smoked meat and granite.  On the palate, it’s a light-bodied wine with juicy and lively fruit and a nice cherry aftertaste.  The problem is that it’s the equivalent of a Rioja Crianza at double the price.  But it is pleasant.  13% alcohol.
