This is a terrific village level Gevrey, showing the muscle of the appellation but also the charmingly open, soft character of the 2009 vintage in Burgundy. Subtle oak accents firm and frame the fruit without drying it, and savory notes provide lovely accents to the ripe fruit flavors.
