This delicious Merlot shows a fine balance between rich, flavorful fruit and smoky, spicy oak. These two main components work very well with one another, producing a harmonious overall impression. Medium-bodied but deeply flavored, this should prove very versatile at the table, yet the black plum and dark berry fruit profile seems especially promising for duck or lamb.
