What the world needs–at least on Tuesday nights–is a good, honest, balanced, $11 bottle of red wine that will work with almost anything at the table. This is that wine. It shows red berry and black plum flavors with soft, supple tannins and virtually no notable oak. This may not cut the mustard for special occasions, but it is a damned good bottle of everyday wine.
