Roth’s 2011 Sonoma Coast Pinot is a reflection of the spotty vintage. Light in color and without a good deal of weight on the palate, it is nevertheless an enjoyable Pinot made all the better by its modest price. Earthy on the nose, it exhibits fresh red-fruit aromas with firm acidity.
