Winemaker Sal De Ianni shows a deft hand with Carneros Pinot Noir with this fine bottling. Cherry, strawberry, rhubarb, mild damp earth, cardamom and a dash of cinnamon are evident in the nose and on the palate, delivered via lively acidity and a soft mouthfeel. Touches of vanilla and faint orange zest come up in the long mouth watering finish. If you’re feeding a big crew for Thanksgiving, you’ll want more than one bottle — it’s sure to be a favorite.
