P + S, Douro (Portugal) 2010

Dec 4, 2013

By Robert Whitley

The emergence of dry red table wine in the Douro Valley, where Port wine rules, is one of the great untold stories in the ever changing landscape of fine wine. Prazo de Roriz is a succulent blend of six indigenous grapes. It is medium-bodied and smooth, with modest tannins and complex red and black fruit aromas, and the price won’t hit you too hard in the wallet.
