Some wineries really understand that Zinfandel is for drinking with food and not just hammering the palate. Dry Creek Vineyard has consistently been exceptionally good at this, and this wine is a perfect example. It shows medium to deep ruby color, pretty and really attractive ripe berry aromas, excellent depth, and medium body. Pert and energetic on the palate, it is dry, with medium acidity, nice balance, and bright red berry flavors. Made from 84% Zinfandel and 16% Petite Sirah.
