Staying true-to-form, the winery has produced a solid wine in a slightly cool vintage. Aromas shows tree bark, some dried dirt and red currants. On the palate, you’ll find excellent balance and structure, with just a touch oak in the background. Winemaker Marcus Notaro is keeping this wine elegant, which is the way it should be. Should drink well up to a decade’s time.
