Here is a nice quaffer that’s got some Tempranillo and Grenache in the blend, which serve to round things out nicely. The wine is named for the county road, G17, that the vineyards are near. It features blackberry, blueberry, tobacco, vanilla and soft spice in both aroma and flavor, with a fleshy feel and a medium long finish that focuses on the blackberry fruit. I’d serve it with heavy appetizers or enjoy it alone while the meat is grilling.
