This complex, layered Zinfandel took a platinum award at the 2014 Winemaker Challenge International Wine Competition. It shows pure aromas of red and black fruits, smooth tannins and good balance. A hint of oak vanillin provides an inviting backdrop for the sweet fruit flavors.
