Grüner Veltliner — arguably the signature variety of Austria — is steadily gaining a toehold domestically thanks to wines like this one, in which a rich mid-palate and scouring acidity play well together, showcasing Meyer lemon citrus notes and green bean aromas and flavors, all wrapped around a core of granite minerality. A lingering sweet lemon finish really hangs on. Great stuff! A Platinum Award Winner at the 2018 Monterey International Wine Competition.
