This might be the most fruit forward set of aromas ever from Schramsberg, and of course it works spectacularly. Pear, apple and sweet lemon jump right out of the glass, with hints of dough and stone adding interest. On the palate it’s all delivered in crisp and dry fashion, with good scouring acidity that leaves a lingering fruit impression. A little bottle age will make for a creamier texture, but right now, in the heat of summer, it’s a refreshing beauty.
