Wildly peppery on the nose, but not your usual pepper profile — this is more in the poblano/jalapeño zone, and it works very nicely in this Pinot Noir with the tart cherry and dry earth aromas and flavors. The pepper kicks a touch on the finish, suggesting a pairing with a chicken or fish taco platter would work.
